Aéronavale Limited Edition

At the request of the French Naval Air Force, Bell & Ross is producing two Limited Series of 150 watches specially designed for aerial navigation. These Pilot chonos come in either acrylic glass or sapphire glass. The Bell & Ross Type Aéronavale has the colors of the French Naval Air Force.

BR-01 Instrument Phantom Tourbillon

Check out the new Bell & Ross Phantom Tourbillon. It has a cool DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) finish for high resistance to scratching. At 46 mm it is properly sized by todays standards. It has carbon fiber and gold to complete its' impressive look. You can see the beautiful tourbillon through the opening at 6 o'clock.

BR01-92 and BR01-94 Instruments

Bell & Ross recently released two Limited Edition Instrument wristwatch models. They released the BR01 Instrument Red and the BR01 Instrument Yellow, which actually consist of two versions each, so there are actually four models. The model numbers end with either a 92 or a 94. The models that end with 92 have automatic movements and the models that end with 94 have automatic chronograph movements. Each version is limited to 500 pieces, which is a respectable number for a limited edition. I hate when manufacturers make over 1000 pieces and then abuse the term "limited edition".

BELL & ROSS Instrument BR02 - 1000 M

Here is a new professional diving watch designed by Bell & Ross to be extremely readable and water resistant. The BR02 watch is fitted with photoluminescent large hands and indexs to make it easier to read while deep sea diving. The unidirectional inside bezel graduated to 60 mn is marked by photoluminescent indexs and provides great visibility when underwater. The water resistance is 1,000 M and during deep sea diving, its decompression valve balances the pressure inside the case with pressure outside the case.

The BR02 Instrument also provides optimum comfort through the ergonomics of the case and the flexibilty of the strap. The case is 44 mm in diameter and is made of a 316L glass bead blasted steel with a vacuum carbon black finish. The crystal is anti-reflective to make sure visibilty is not impaired. This new dive watch from Bell & Ross costs a little over $4800 which seems a little steep considering you can find a Bell & Ross Hydromax for well under three grand.

Instrument BR01-92 Orange

In the West, the color orange is associated with energy. In the professional world, orange is symbolizes emergency, risk or danger.

It is usually used to highlight important information. An “overheating engine” gauge or a “low fuel” indicator will often be shown by an orange warning light. It is therefore no accident that the American Coast Guard chooses orange (in association with blue, its complementary color in the visible spectrum) for its flag. With its ergonomic black and photoluminescent orange dial and its superlative Swiss movement, the BR01 Instrument Orange embodies Bell & Ross’s philosophy:“Function initiates shape”.


Bell n Ross applies this “principle of high readability” to both models of this new timepiece. Production of the automatic watch and the automatic chronograph is limited to 250 pieces.

Dial : Galvanic black. Numbers, indexes and hands are coated with an orange photoluminescent finish for optimal night readability.

Strap : rubber or heavy-duty synthetic fabric.
